Every day abused children in our community are removed from their home and placed in custody. An average foster child can move an average of seven times before the age of 18, and with each move everything they own is placed in a black, plastic trash bag. These abused children lead tough enough lives. We think it’s important for these vulnerable children to be given luggage so they can have a little dignity and pride when they change placements. That’s why we are using our donations to  purchase duffle bags that provide children in foster care and other types of care with their own bag, so they don’t have to cart their only belongings from home to home in a black, plastic trash bag.

Without your support we couldn’t provide our life-changing services. Now, more than ever, Friends of Children needs your help to break the cycle of child abuse in our community. Want to help? Children should not move with their belongings in a trash bag and a small $10 donation will pay for a duffle bag that will be provided to an abused child. Donate Today by clicking here!
