Every child needs a hero… and abused children need SUPERHEROES! Whether you are a competitive runner, a casual walker, or just love the idea of supporting a wonderful cause, participating in the Friends Superhero Run allows you to support abused and neglected children in Brevard County.
What do Spiderman, Superman, Batman and Robin all have in common? They were all adopted! Real life icon’s such as Babe Ruth, Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon and Cher were also in foster care at one time. These fictional and real life Superheroes prove that with the help of others, we can achieve great things; which is why Friends of Children of Brevard is hosting the 6th Annual Superhero Run. The run offers a 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run, and 5K & 1Mile Superhero Challenge option. Complimentary food and drinks will be provided to all participants. Awards are available for top school with most participation, top 3 Teams, top 3 overall male and female, top male and female in all age groups. Medals will be given to all participants who register for the Superhero Challenge. Most importantly, Superhero sized fun will be provided for kids and adults of all ages! For those who are unable to attend the race, a virtual option will be available.

About Friends of Children of Brevard County, Inc.
Friends of Children of Brevard (Friends) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that raises funds to provide for the unmet needs of abused, neglected or abandoned children in Brevard County. Friends has been helping these children achieve normalcy since 1985 and relies on donations and fundraisers to make this happen. When a child leaves their home without a backpack, shoes, toys or wants to go to Summer Camp, these Guardians call Friends for financial support. Dreams come true, with added funding and presents during the holidays, from this hard working nonprofit. All money donated and raised goes directly to children in Brevard County. Now is your chance to give back to the community, help support these children and have fun being a Superhero too!
