The Marie Fraser Student Bike Essay Contest

Friends of Children of Brevard would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Marie Fraser for her exceptional contributions and for your many years of great leadership. Marie selfless dedication of countless volunteer hours in support of the Friends of Children and the many projects undertaken to benefit the children the advocates represent reflect her unwavering commitment to the children of our community.

In honor of Marie’s dedicated service to our children, we would like to gift a bike to a child in care. An essay contest will determine the winner of this bike. Our bike giveaway is in honor of Marie’s years of steadfast service to our children and their advocates.

Deadline for children to submit their essay is Friday, September 30.

To be eligible, an entrant must be a child assigned to the Guardian ad Litem program.

Children may use their own subject for the essay.

Entries may be accompanied by a drawing or painting. Essays should be no more than 500 words.

Entries must be accompanied by a separate page containing the following information:

  • child’s name
  • age
  • school grade
  • Guardian ad Litem’s name
  • phone number
  • e-mail address for notification of winners.

This information must be included on a separate sheet of paper, not on the essay.

Essays may be hand-delivered to the GAL office where there is a folder in the hallway Friends of Children.
