The Annual Friends of Children Superhero Holiday Wish Project meets the Digital Age:
Introducing an Online Amazon Wish Store.
Did you know you can shop Amazon this holiday season and help abused children in need? Friends
of Children of Brevard County, Inc. has brought back their 2 nd annual Online Amazon Holiday Wish
Store to benefit children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, abandonment, and
neglect and will be spending this Holiday season in the Dependency System and foster care.
Every child needs a hero… and abused children need SUPERHEROES! Whether you are a long-
time support of Friends of Children, a current or past Guardian ad Litem Volunteer, someone who
enjoys supporting children, or just love the idea of supporting a wonderful cause, participating in
the Friends Online Amazon Holiday Wish Store allows you to support abused and neglected
children in Brevard County.
Friends of Children of Brevard is hosting their annual Holiday Wish Project. The 501(c)(3) non-
profit organization partners each year with local businesses to place Angel Trees at various
locations throughout Brevard County to allow community members to make a positive impact on
these children. However, the nonprofit organization realizes not everyone has time during this busy
season to stop by the angel trees for a request, shop for that specific request, and then return it to a
drop off location. For this reason, Friends of Children has created the online Amazon store. This
store will help ensure these at-risk children receive gifts from people within our community!
Wished for items from children involved in the Dependency System have been collected and added
to this online store. All purchases made will be shipped directly to Friends of Children to ensure the
public does not have to worry about transporting the toys.
About Friends of Children of Brevard County, Inc.
Friends of Children of Brevard (Friends) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that raises funds to
provide for the unmet needs of abused, neglected or abandoned children in Brevard County. Friends
has been helping these children achieve normalcy since 1985 and relies on donations and
fundraisers to make this happen. When a child leaves their home without a backpack, shoes, toys or
wants to go to Summer Camp, these Guardians call Friends for financial support. Dreams come
true, with added funding and presents during the holidays, from this hard-working nonprofit. All
money donated and raised goes directly to children in Brevard County. Now is your chance to give
back to the community, help support these children and have fun being a Superhero too!
